Ingredients (serves 4):
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)
- Salt & pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp brown sugar
Optional Toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, cheddar cheese, ketchup, mustard
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and brown sugar.
- Form into 4 patties, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties 3-4 minutes per side for medium, or until desired doneness.
- Let burgers rest 3-5 minutes. Serve on toasted buns with your favorite toppings.
